Jalopy Showdown Invitational??

I'm in will bring my vintage stock car to run on track.

 

I would have to make the trek!

 

What about a Sunday? Even though there are tons of shows in Sept-Oct, they are mostly Saturday gigs, right? I know I always wish there was something to go see on a Sunday. And for purely selfish reasons, my man works Saturdays and I know he would be so happy to be able to go, as he asks off for the Showdown in May every year, but asking off twice in one year won't fly

 

I like the idea...gives people a shot at getting a shot to working on getting their rides up to par for an invite some day...nothing wrong with providing a little incentive

 

I'm sniffin' July 28th 2012...yeah, could be hot BUT not much going on then & it would be a one shot deal. Hot rods & race cars!! Wadda ya think?? I dont care if it is a giant deal or not, I just want the RIGHT STUFF there!!!

 

The 28th? July? ok by me, not like i look too far ahead you know. How does the pick/invitational thing work?

Larry, I'd love to come & bring the Willys Gasser if it fits the bill. That's as long as there are no conflicts with our race schedule.

 

Just wrote it in ink on my schedule for next year!

Hmmmm, the pick/invitational thing...good question!! Let me think about that now, I'm bound to come up with something before the show!

 

Larry, just got back from the showdown, once again THE Killer show show in the east.

Me and the guys from the Aces and Eights got our Invitations to the Jalopy Invitational in July and we are all humbled by your choice to include us.

Jerry (Homemadehardtop57), Scott Sr, HemiDave and I will not miss it and plan on us being there
