Jalopy Showdown Junk, Your Opinion

I'm thinking about adding tag toppers to the line of junk, ahhhh fine merchandise for the show. I have two design ideas and want to know if anyone would even be interested in one and which design.The small one would be cool because you could cut it off the tab and use it in other spots. The big one would just make an old skool looking topper.These are just rough ideas I scabbed together tonight, but you get the picture. They would most likely be $20-30 each and as every year HAMB auctions will preceed the show. CurtSix is helping (as always) with the new art for the shirts and posters. Soon time to have a sit-down with all the knuckleheads that help me put this deal together. Thanks for any input.

 

Personally I like the little ones. They don't need a tag to use them. Are you going to date them so that we need to buy a new one each year to stay current?

you gotta offer them both.. are you planning to cast them? or are they to be a printed style?

and dont forget that they could be incorporated into some really cool trophies for your ***** clark.

 

Tommy, no dates. Sawzall, trophies??? No trophies. I just make them up now and again and give them to Clark to make him feel special. He dont even notice that its January and there are not even any shows going on.

 

I kinda like them both. The first one,like you said, could be used else where by bending off the tab. The second one just because thats the type I've only seen used. I never seen a single one used before. A little suggestion for the second design, maybe some pinstriping around the "Jalopy Showdown" words across the bottom? later plmczy

 

The small one is cool you could attach it to your grill or your plate. Let me know if you need any help with the show.

 

I like them both...esp if the bigger one is tucked in the back pockets of a hottie in tight jeans Just a promotional idea..

P.S. I havent forgot about the tape holmes...We havent even watched it since we've been back cause i lost my cords..I will get one to you..promise!

I like the smaller one better, but would buy the big one and display it proudly, if the little one wasn't available.

I'll be there this year for the first time. The small plaque looks best to me. If you placed that logo over a Pennsylvania keystone and had the top portion just above the oval it would be a good spot to stamp the year. A stamped year (or blank area) would allow you to make additional plaques that you could sell next year, unless every year has had a different log. Thanks in advance for all the work you put into this event.

 

I can't decide which one looks better. I would buy both. Of course I liked the big posters too...

I like them both the same. As another option, how about having one that mounts to the bottom of the plate.

I think you should do them both because the designs are really nice and I don't think you'll end up with leftovers. I'll personally buy a plate topper.

Flt blk....it's the same weekend as Goodguys Hershey and it's not too far from Hershey. Anybody that travels a good distance can do both shows. Larry already had his date set for this year and Goodguys set their date for the same weekend. The real hot rodders will be at Larry's show on Saturday and the Streetrodders will be at Goodguys.

As for the toppers I like the little one cause you can do more with it but the other one is just as cool.

Mapquest shows 1400 miles, Paso was farther than that.
I really want to take a trip around the track.

 

flt-blk, we'd love to have some of you TX guys up! I think I'm going to be putting Evel up if he's really going to make the trip or I'd give ya a place to stay. If your going to make it for sure, maybe someone can squeeze you in for a couple of days is you want. Looks like I may be doing both, maybe a few more of the small ones. Thanks for the help.
