Big Olds electrical gemlins are at bay...headlights now working thanks to my hero Scott AKA Ralfs56. I don't have to duck tape flashlights to my fenders now.:D See you folks tomorrow.

I wonder how many times we drove around the Tropical Treat as teenagers, it was lots !! One can no longer drive the whole way around the "Treat" - used to be from the Treat to the Hanover Diner and back over and over again, of course gas was only 27 cents a gallon back then.

We are already in PA and I'm spending the day with my mother tomorrow in the Caddy, I think we will have lunch at the Treat or at least take the Caddy out there for an ice cream cone.

The diner is long gone, it was tore down last year.

The Victory has the best food around, IMO.

The only thing the showdown needs is someone selling some good BBQ. Pulled pork with coleslaw anyone?

Old half mile dirt track at Latimore Pa. near Gettysburg on Rt.15 you can take your rod out on the track for a few laps there are metal crafters there and a flea market. Even if you can't get into infield to park ther is plenty of space outside and also there is a museum with old race cars on the grounds. Come on up your not that far away.

It's a great day at Latimore, i was there around noon and set up vendor spot o' junk. weather was great.

i went back again around 6 pm and dropped off a cooler with 100 bottles of water and some tea/lemonade packs.

fyi, I've got a 10 and 11 year old girls selling lemonade this year........
I told them once they pay me back for what the water cost they can keep the profits, there at the old white and tan RV with an awning about dead center in the infield........
