Great time at the show. Some of my photos are here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.974928395886005.1073741897.260981127280739&type=3
I'm always looking for a new destination, is it always around the same weekend in October Don? If I mark it in my calender its as good as a plan.
.............................Yep. Pretty much always the week-end before Halloween. The rumor floats each year that it could be the last one. This was the biggest ever and hopefully that will bode well for there being more ( maybe many more). Mike Szuba and the Rusty Nuts Hot Rod Group work extremely hard to pull off this one day event. Who knows when they may finally say enough is enough.
I don't know, Dave. I left a little after 3pm so as to get home before it got dark out. It was about a 75 mile trip for me. Don't know if Mike posts that info on the Jalopyrama website or not. Maybe someone else will know.
Well, I believe it was the '50s Chevy PU with the leather on the fenders. There must have been a Woodstock reunion prior to the voting.
Hey Guys and Gals- I'm sorry to bring a somber note to the wonderful comments we have seen about the Rusty Nut's Jalopyrama Reunion, but we are trying to recover our banner. Some may have thought that this would be the last Jalopyrama because of the change in format from the armories to the large indoor venue, but believe us, that was not the reason. We could not work out the rental of the armory, so Mike and others went looking for a different venue. We are already in the planning stages for next year, OK? Unfortunately, the long banner we had strung on the second floor railing at the Boston Inn, in Westminster, disappeared sometime last Sunday morning. It was not meant to be someone's souvenir. It is part of our advertising for the show. If you are reading this and are in possession of the banner, we sure would like to get it back. Please feel free to drop it off at the Ag Center or the Boston Inn. You can do this anonymously and no questions will be asked. Alternatively, you can also ship it to either place with no return address. We sure would like to be able to fly the banner next year. Thanks in advance for its return.
