Weather brightened up, and decided to give it a go. Sure glad I did. Great show, will certainly have to do this again!

What’s up with the indoor lighting? It seemed very dark in there.

 

Drove this home from the show to Western, Pa. 11 hours through torrential rain, wind on route 30, Pa. over the mountains. Of course the wiper stopped working, but made it in one piece. Ya gotta drive them!
Like to give a shout out to Dean Alexander and the guys at Hot Rod Garage! The trans worked great!

No, it was quite bright. It would have been easier to photograph if the light had been more diffused, since there wss a lot of "hot spotting" and glare from the overhead spot lights. But definitely not dark at all.

Sketchy ride in the flatty powered '30, 4" wide bias-plys, no wipers, no defrost, no hood, couple inches of standing water on the road and a strong cross wind...
Rain-x on the outside, wad of paper towels on the inside and a death grip on the wheel for about 3 agonizing miles.
Made it through unscathed.
Car ran great the whole 2 hours home
