havent heard much about it this year. i checked the web site and its scheduled for oct. 23 , same place as last year. anyone hear any highlights as to cars featured this year?
We are busy getting ready. We expect another great show. We have cars coming inside from as far away as New York and Kentucky. We will have the freshly restored Carrillo roadster, just back from Pebble Beach a few weeks ago, a floor full of early coupes and roadsters, several customs and some fantastic early drag race cars. I canot give away all of our secret invited guests, but let's just say some of the inside cars have not been seen in public since the seventies or earlier. Remember the red '32 5 window last year? The same deal. We also just posted to the website an opportunity to pre-order a GMP Jalopyrama 1:18 '32 3w diecast car. We also have announced that we have created a set of Hot Rod cards (like they did in the sixties). One of the seven cards will be given to each entrant (up to 300). Packs will also be for sale. Plus a lot more. The auction, pinstriper panel jam, merchandise sales, flea market, pit beef (along with breakfast this year). I hope to see you there! Jay
A great, great show. A group of us drove up last year from Richmond, Va and didn't want to leave (despite the rain and bad weather). Can't wait. Ya gotta go, fellas.
Hey Everyone, In addition to what Jay mentioned we also have a cool coupe coming from Indiana that was in the Detroit Autorama Extreme (downstairs) last year. Also the Rolling Bones have registered both '32 coupes for the Armory floor. EXTRA, EXTRA just got off the phone with Jeff Norwell and he is 99% sure that he will be attending the show and will be putting his chopped '32 Ford Pick-up in the JALOPYRAMA on the Armory floor this year! Plus he's the artist of choice again this year for this year's poster. So check out the Jalopyrama web site for updated information only 7 weeks to go! www.jalopyrama.com
Best indoor show in Maryland on that weekend ever!! Seriously, this show is one of the great ones.. Spike
Thanks to Mike for the invite last year. I had a great time. This year i will be driving the blue roadster down. Looking forward to it.
Jalopyrama 7 is just four short weeks from today! Gates open at 8 a.m. for 1962 and earlier rods, customs, rat rods, and vintage race cars. Last year, over 250 vehicles were on the outside lot in the liquid sunshine and still had a great time. This year, Jalopyrama Mike guarantees there will be only natural sunshine, so it will be even better. Mark your calendars, tune up your mills, and join in the fun. As Buddy Holly once said: everyday, it's a gettin' closer... coming faster than a roller coaster. More fun, too! See you there.
