Has anyone used the "49-53 FORD DELUXE LOWERING KIT" kit from Jamco. I've seen lots of lowering threads, but none that were talking about this kit.
I got that kit and installed it on my 52 in an afternoon. The kit was great quality and the guys at Jamco are top notch with their customer service. The only reason I removed everything was because I went with air ride.
Hey Scary.... I have their tubular front kit in my 53. I love it, handles great and easy to get installed. It took longer to clean everything and paint than to remove and replace. You can see the kit on my album. Everything fits and works! I really suggest the swaybar kit too as it is 11/8inch and really flattens the body roll. I ended up using their rear spring kit as well. Call Jim Genty at Jamco and let him know that you are on HAMB and we 'talked' and he should give you a discount. pm me if you choose to. Gene Anderson, Oregon
too bad you're not a close neighbor.... I'd have that in for you and driving in one day. I used their disc brake and master cylinder set up without power brakes. The kit was complete and needed nothing but labor. Just bend and flare the brakelines.
