After installing the pcv kit on my 1950 ford I lost the use of my vacuum wipers, my question I understand that a vacuum storage canister with a check valve will restore the use of the wipers, so is there someone that is doing this, if so which canister are you using and how is it working. I know the best way to do this is to install a 12v wiper motor and if I was going to keep this car I would.
I didn't know there was kit for the 8BA. I might look into that. I’m sure you could find another vacuum source for the wipers - maybe a carb spacer with a port?
You don't need a PCV kit. All you need is a Chrysler style oil filler cap on your fuel pump stand with a 3/4" hose barb and a 3/4" hose to the air filter can. That'll take care of the crankcase fumes you're getting inside the car. Jack E/NJ
I'm trying to think of what I used to see vacuum tanks on on a regular basis and late 60's early 70's big Fords or Lincolns comes to mind. They do sell new ones for cars with radical cams though. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...MIy8PhzNrg3QIVDtRkCh1qYwUOEAQYASABEgJq3vD_BwE
