I have a 53 Ford Victoria, that I installed a JAMCO front suspension in several years ago. I now find I need all new rubber parts, and JAMCO is long defunct. An outfit called Parts On Line claim to handle parts for these kits, but they are slightly more responsive than JAMCO. Any suggestions, solutions, alternatives??? Thanks Henry
Shoebox Central? I ***ume you are referring to the Jamco set-up that used their design tube control arms with Granada spindles.
Fuzzy memory here, but- when I was doing the front suspension on my 53, I talked to Jamco about their system, and I believe it used original bushings on the lower control arms, and mid 60s GM bushings on the upper control arms with press in GM ball joints. I really didn't care for their at***ude and went with the dropped uprights from Shoebox. I believe the outfit that now carries Jamco stuff is performanceonline.com
POL is selling the Jamco Tubular A arm and disc brake kit. I am going to try it on my 53 wagon. They are out of stock at this time. The current kit uses a Granada spindle/disc brake set-up. Shoebox sells their sway bar kit.
I need a set of swaybar bushings for their ‘51 front swaybar. It’s way bigger than the stock ones I’d have to go measure them but I really need a set in the worst sorta way.
