The thing is freakin' STUNNING-OUTSTANDING! If that's real, and NOT just a photoshop-chop, you've really got your self something special-I wanna see pictures of it on the street, with someone driving it...now quite goofing around and weld!!

:) yeah, I realized the car itself was all real, but even just the finishing looked pretty darn real on my iphone. I can tell a little better on the desk top screen, but still looks pretty convincing. Good work from both of you regardless! Looking forward to the real finish however it ends up. I just hope you don't have to repaint it 5 times before you are happy with it.

    haha.

I would like to see a thread of all the photoshops of the different versions you have gone through in chronological order. seriously...

Each one would have made a bad*** custom in itself.

Looks good. Kind of reminds me of "the golden sahara" now.

I totally agree!!!! You really need to do a progress thread to date. You have blown The HAMB away! There is not one custom being built today that has gone through as many transformations as yours has.

    Much respect.

As for JamesD, He ****in' rocks!!!! I love what he is capable of doing.

    Hey Jim,

How thick of an A post did you wind up with? I'd probably build the doors from round tube and ''top hat'' the skin to the shell. This would result in a thinner door shell that could be shaped to whatever needs to be done to meet at the A post and fit the opening well. F100 hinges are the pocket type, and may require a thicker A post than what you have to work with.

    oh, it's REAL alright,,,hahaha
i've got the welder burns on my hands, t-shirts and pants to prove it..;)

there's metal under that photoshop work:D

i'm planning to have it at the roundup next year, so you will see it on the streets by this time next year (although it may still be in bare metal or primer at that point)..:D:cool::D

currently working on building the doors and jambs....
i think i have a lot of it figured out, but it's been very challenging
    to say the least,,,,,

  30. Jim, That's honestly one great Kustom Concept Car look, The Fins extended into the door are perfect and I think the Chrome trim on the door tops flowing around from the cowl trim is a great idea ! Your kickin *** Buddy, keep it up ! James D. and Tom are doin some outstanding design work too !
