alright, i need some help guys. in all of my searching, i've seen a number of threads about phosphoric acid use here, but nothing on the 'net has been able to give me an answer. i'm doing some 'quick n cheap' paint work(I.E., rattle can special), and the guidelines for the JASCO P&P say that some paints may not adhere. i would like to use one of rustoleum's automotive primers(or skip straight to their 'hammered' finish paint) over top of the resulting iron phosphate, but i can't find ANY info saying whether this stuff will adhere or not. for that matter, i can't find an example of ANY type of primer or paint that anyone has used over top of this stuff. thanks guys!
Been using Jasco on chassis parts for about 10 years. Have used Rustoleum, Van Sickle, & XORust over the cleaned parts with no problem, even in Idaho winter driving conditions. The quality of the paint you use is the key here.
AWESOME! thank you, sir! waiting for it to cure, then i'm going to slap some rustoleum primer and hammer finish paint on there...
