Unfortunately Mr Leno was in another accident. He seems to be OK with some broken bones but is recovering. Quote from recent interview.
“So I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it,” Leno said. “So, you know, I didn’t see it until it was too late. It just clothesline me and, boom, knocked me off the bike.”
Hope he gets back on his feet soon.

Dang! His wife must be some gal to be by his side for all this. I’d be strapped to a chair and but in the corner by my girlfriend.
Anyway’s good to hear his still talking.

To add insult to injury, his show was just canceled too.

I caught the end of it on the radio this morning, didn’t know who they were speaking of. They mentioned a 1940 Indian motorcycle.

Probably not enough drama in it to keep it going. No wrench throwing, screaming, arguing, etc. Just plain old good content.

I was just reading that, man, I love Jay but he needs to slow down.
I can't imagine how the whole car/comedy world would be without him.
    Remember this one.

I'll bet he keeps his YouTube channel going, which is better than the show anyway.

Really? Come On Man, it's got to be pretty easy to be married to Jay Leno.

I could be wrong but I think it’s just on hold because of the accident. I heard that they were about to start filming when it happened.

Jay needs to spend about 6 weeks on a remote beach, covered in sunscreen, with a stack of books and car magazines. No cars. No motorcycles. No scooters. No horse-drawn carts. Just take a mental break and come back to the garage in 6 weeks.

Sounds like someone didn’t want motorcycles running on his lot.
Sad to hear Jay was injured.

Human behavior is that of the trickle down affect.

the old saying is "crash and burn". Leno did it backwards "burn, then crash". a good guy that has done a lot for the car hobby. still does some stage comedy acts

Jay has lived a charmed life, unfortunately at this stage his luck is a lot lie mine, not so good.

I don't know Jay Leno but I am sure his wife will stand by his side just like Brenda will with me, regardless of what happens in life. HRP

I'm sad to hear that, Jay has had some bad luck recently. He sponsored my Great Race team in high school in the late 90's and always seemed like a real enthusiast and a genuinely nice guy.

But I really hope he doesn't slow down, he's one of my heroes, still building stuff and actually using it, well into (relatively) old age. For him to take a break and sit around would be just like parking all of those cars to keep them fresh and scratch-free. That's not what they're for.

I hope he makes a quick recovery. Also, probably don't cut through people's parking lots.

I doubt it. Not Jay’s personality.

I feel like Jay already has enough money not to feel the need to sue the owner of a parking lot, especially because it's possible he was tresp***ing to cut through there anyway. What he might be able to get, even if he did try, wouldn't be worth the time it would take or the damage to his reputation.

And the parking lot owner suffered no damage so I don't see how they could sue him for anything.

He is lucky to be alive. I knew a kid in Junior High that got decapitated by a strand of barbed wire a farmer put up to keep kids from riding motorcycles along the edge of his field. Another that damn near got his arm cut off by a brown lamp cord split down to the plug and tied between 2 chain link fences in an alley to keep him from riding his Hodaka down the alley. . Speedy recovery to Jay! Seems like a great guy!

    Not entirely.

I had the opportunity to see his car collection and the host was careful to point out the car he used to live in.

First car he bought in California - in 72. He slept in it a couple of days trying to find a place to rent.

Dolly Parton had her sweater of many colors and Jay his Buick. Good on them.

On a side note, his show You Bet Your Life is pretty good. Kind of a low brow Jeopardy. I’m not sure if it’s re-runs I’m watching but I hope it’s keeping him in car money.
