Jay Leno is living what a lot of us would live if the funds were unlimited. I loved the video of his 3500 Maser...

He sure puts a new light on gold chainers. Love this guy. Look at his roots. A mechanic i believe and it's in his blood.

You won't find it driving around. There's no sign or advertising, just a plain nondescript building

Exactly. It's VERY secure, but I don't think he necessarily wants anyone and everyone in the world camping out there ...

I hope Jay has enough money to keep it going. He could probably make some money with a larger facility that has room for paying visitors to watch the work being done without disturbing it. It seems like Jay really enjoys showing Dennis Gage his cars.

I was lucky enough to get the tour also......wow is all I can say.. and motorcycle's, double wow...so many cool cars one that stick's out in my mind was a yenko corvair, also he has a huge steam machine that if I heard rite was used in the ford plant ...as I was leaving he pulled up in some stock 50's Russian car .....he took that one home the night before, I think he lives in Beverly hills, and the museum is around Burbank airport

  13. Your very fortunate to get a tour of his shop! Jay promotes our hobby and you can tell he likes rolling up his denim sleeves and getting his hands dirty!

One of the fellows that invited me to tag along to see the collection is a big-time automotive journalist/literature collector/historian, so it was interesting to get his perspective on the cars, too. There were a total of only four of us, so we had the joint to ourselves ... :)
