Just a quick howdy-do from Kevin near Seattle. Lived in SE Virginia for 35 years, been here about 6. I have a '48 Anglia race/street car (gray primer with purple flames) and a '48 Chevy peekup (same paint scheme as the Anglia). Been lurking for a while, just decided to "come out". Not a club member, don't do many shows, just dig working on my sh*t. The pickup is the ex-"Boyd Who" truck and has been my daily driver (50 miles a day) since last August. The Anglia has a rect. tube frame, BBC, 'glass body. Married to a fine lady who puts with my cars. Greetings, and let the ass-whoopin' begin.
Welcome to the HAMB... Nice to see an Anglia on here...I'm from the UK originally, and those car's were my introduction to hotrodding...In fact, 1st time I saw a stock one, I was all....What have they done to that????? Enjoy the forum's, and welcome once more Dave

I still like to see what everyone else is up to, though. Gotta get my hotrod fix somewhere. Sounds like you're driving the wheels off my old beast. I'm really glad that it's working out so well for you. I've had many days where I miss it, but I just hop on the bike and go for a nice ride somewhere. Almost cures me. Maybe when I get rich again I'll build another car.

Everytime I see him at a cruise I tell him how we oughta cut it up and make a gasser out of it. Pisses him off every time!!
Always loved Anglias, Not too many here on the Hamb. And kinda partial to old chevy trucks too. Sit down and have a beer. welcome
