I got involved in drag racing via my father-in-law in 1998 and started tuning his blown alky Cifca FC/ Altered in 1999. Since his p***ing in 2006 I completed the restoration of my dragster and have built a couple pretty wild custom street/mild off road Manxes for friends. I also started crewing for Joel Gruzen on his blown alky NE1 cars. In early 2010 I was offered the opportunity to recreate the Cagel Newhouse Special for Joel and jumped on it. The 23 pickup I am bulding is barely more than a collection of a few parts but is almost a roller already. I am using an original 25 T frame, 23 T front axle, 3 link 9" ford rear end with a 1955 291 Desoto Hemi That I gave to myself for Christmas.
