My son & i went Sat. We got there about 6:30. We were on a mission to locate a few late model parts and a few non-car related things for my son, and a Big Bar for myself.
We were moving pretty quickly and saw a lot of the things posted on this & povertyflat's thread. That Chevy business coupe was nice. My 1st purchase was a package of gloves, my hands were cold. I got my big bar, my son bought a couple snow blowers, one ran, for $75 for the pair. I saw a few Hambers going a different direction then us just far enough away not to yell, and we didn't hit any buildings other then the 1 food tent and the can, and didn't make it to the car carrell at all.

We ended up leaving when the rain started, after we loaded up the snow blowers. Before the rain started, it was one of the nicest Jefferson's, weather wise, we have been to in a while. I couldn't believe they were watering the roads late morning, guess they couldn't stand not having mud there? LOL.
As usual we got some things on our list, didn't get some things on the list, got a few things not on the list, almost bought something but didn't, then went back to buy it only to find it gone. All in all, I'm happy I went and probably would have stayed longer if it hadden't began to rain. Sorry I missed you guys. Gene

  4. Also saw a couple of Milwaukee Cheaters jumping over the fence for the free admission and then they were grabbing all the old parts and hiding them at their friends lair!

P.I.E. left as soon as he picked up a few parts with Lawrence!

Great seeing the "Whole" Minnesota Chapter of the "KROPDUSTERS" Car Club... nice meeting you John! Also great meeting Skypop... thanks for the use of the "Dolly" for haulin my loot!

Have a safe trip back home!

My dumb *** brothers who live in IL. called at 5:30 Saturday morning to rub it in that they were there. To say I was jealous is putting it mild.

  6. Picked up a few things I didn't need, but I went to try to get to meet a few of you guys. Got to talk to bopwop, povertyflats, and Kelly from kellys hot rod parts. Hope to be able to spend more time getting to know more of you next spring, always a good time. I did pick up some really nice 5 inch round mirrors that I put on the roadster today. They look good.
