weather looks good so far they are calling for windy conditions. last year i found everything on my list in the first hour. i was out of there by 3pm. hoping for more of the same on fri. good luck to everyone out on the hunt.

Went today. Very busy with a lot more people than the usual Friday! Got some killer deals today. A complete mustang II front suspension minus the calipers for $25. Now that was a killer deal
what a show scored some real deals. got a dana 60 case spreader for 35 bucks. guy also had the complete set of tools to remove pinion and carrier bearings again 35 bucks. got a 8-inch finned sbc balancer for 125 bucks these can go for as high as 5-6 hundred. got the 8-inch timing cover and paid fair price. got some milodon oil pump pieces for a big block mopar 10 bucks. big block mopar scatter shield 10 dollars. this was just some of it. just shows there are still deals at jefferson. i always find something i need there.
Had a great time today,,, bought and sold a few nice items and Nd managed to find a couple things myself,,, 1915 flashlight.couple pre 20s headlights,, and 2 bigbars.
Found a air cleaner for $10, a nice old metal turn signal switch $15, and a old Dodge hood ornament. I thought it would fit my 37 pickup, but it will not. What a great time.
I met up with a lot of friends and made some cool purchases (Model A parts). It was nice to get out and enjoy a car event after a long snowy winter.
The weather was great all three days! I ended up leaving around 10:30 on Sunday morning to pick up a bicycle in Madison and then the drive back to Central Illinois. I didn't get around near as much as I had wanted to but attempted to find Bobwop but he proved to be too elusive ....I hope he was able to sell off his inventory.
busier than crap talking to tire-kickers and nose-pickers. took lowball offers on an OT car all day Friday, then sold it Volo Auto Museum for $4000 more than the highest offer.
Had a great time BS'n with my HAMB brothers..one talked me into buyin his 40 FORD front fenders and a 35 pontiac coupe louvered deck lid...he's a great sales man I dont own either model!! but I only spent $55 SCORE!!!!
ahhh.. are you THAT guy who picked up those engines with the "$800/ea" sign on them?? I lucked out.. snagged a 1955-57 VW Bus tail light for $3 and sold it yesterday for $325... (yes, that is correct dollar amounts..) Heck of a show for sure.. Hadn't been there in 20 years (since I was a kid) and loved walking around the aisles perusing everyone's goodies.. I'll be there again later this year for the fun..
