    That's a storage stand....Not intended to run an engine on. I take chances on things everyday. I wouldn't try running an engine on something like that. Better off building something function specific.

    thanks guys. i think ill look around for a reasonably priced one to buy since i don't trust my welding skills. or lack thereof.

    Jeg's stand and similar are great for engine storage. Makes it easy to move around in the shop.

    they also have one for 35 bones. but i dunno if i trust my motor on something that costs less than oil.

    It's NOT a test stand and far from one ! It's nothing but a cheap overseas engine stand to store an engine on ! It's cheap crap and nothing more !

  8. i bought a cheap stand once.. for small blocks they are fine.. I had to make a front support for the 413 i put one on..
