So is this a color direction change or is there some two toning going on here as that seems a different shade than the greenish paint a couple of pages back...I'm color blind so maybe it's just my eyes...

A friend of mine actually had his car painted the green color I was originally thinking. It's actually a modern color on a modern car. I saw the car in person and hated the color. Lol. Brownish something was actually my original pick.

A great deal of stuff we use on these Hotrods resides in archives of patents...
I have had some success finding stuff here and there and well this is not exact but no doubt designed by this fellow and yeah it's pretty close in time frame. Does yours have a similar winding mechanism? Is there possibly a legible patent # on the back?

Looking real good.

 

The carb plates on my intake were staggered height and angled really hard. I think this may have been a boat intake possibly. I decided to mill them flat... but the stud holes had to be filled, redrilled straight and then tapped. Milling the rear plate flat cut into a vacuum port that was drilled into the back of the intake. That will get repaired, blended in, and everything cleaned up. All the alterations will be invisible when the intake is polished. These are a couple in the process pictures I'll post up a pic when finished

I wish I had guest like that staying in my house. That color is awesome!

 

I adapted my Chrysler door handles to 32 bezels with some whittling around. Neat door handles with an art deco look

The frame is cut and buffed and ready to come home.

Pick up the chrome parts today and did some work on the insert. I taped off the Chrome plated perimeter and blacked out the bars.
