Jesse James bought me lunch... pics

Well not really, but since he owns Garage magazine, and they bought my lunch, I guess he kinda did

I drove up to the photoshoot yesterday with Sammy (**** Reynolds) and Kenny.

Thanks to Dan (Stoner) for buying lunch, he's a cl*** act, and if Jesse is reading, Dan deserves a raise.

Kenny's harley had the only speedometer in the bunch, so we let him lead.

I love that steering wheel!! And you have to love the safety gl*** in Jesse's car. It's like being locked in the mental ward at the hospital, but it's on wheels!!

I agree this car is sweet, i also want more pics. but common that "Aged" paint job and dont get me wrong mexi blankets are cool but rainbow *** seats are gross.

 

My God who painted the flower pots... Somebody should of done a burnout right over the top of them. Man some nice looking rides. looks like a heck of a time

oh yeah...that steering wheel takes me back to the one i had on a 55 chevy...
it is from a 59 or 60 olds.....only mine had the ring cut completly cut off...
nothing but handlebars with the horn ****ons left...the olds steering column is made much shorter to compensate for the style,on a 55 chevy this amounts to ape hangers!...now when any tire taps a curb,
the car lifts a little and the steering wheel jerks out of you hands and spins...
not a big deal with a normal wheel,but if you have handlebars instead....
look out because you are going to get a beating! A cop in Mo said it was
the most dangerous thing he had ever seen....good thing he did not know
it was illegal in Mo even tho i did!

 

That steering wheel is the piss...now I gotta make one...

Also gotta agree with the requests for more pics of that roadster...that car just looks tough...more pics would be great! Thanks for posting what you already have...

Yeah, we had a great time in Looey-ville! Just to answer a few questions:

1. That tall building that some of the cars were shot in front of is a "rick house"--it's where bourbon is stored in those barrels and that's the Heaven Hill Distillery. Oh, Laws--wait till you read about THAT day!

2. That's Shawn Blandford's *****IN' roadster. That thing has more neat details than I could even count when I got up on it.

3. The steering wheel belongs to Dice--a great guy who's '47 Ford coupe is really gonna **** some people up when it hits the magazines.

And look for this full story in the next issue of GARAGE. I think you're really gonna like it. Everyone who showed up will be mentioned, thanked and be fully expected to let us sleep on their couches next time we come to town.

And if you want to thank Jesse for lunch, just write a note on a $20 bill and send it to me. I'll make sure he gets it...
