Thank you for taking a minute to responding to my questions. I always knew you hard your heart in the right place. I've always admired people who take in dogs who most people think are "throw aways". I hope to be in a position like yours to do the best I can for as many as I can. My three girls say thank you saving a puppy friend.

    HAHA. Nice.

Jesse, why didn't you keep this one?:( I hate to see it go to bj. That was my favorite build. Hotdog did his thing on that top! I always wondered what would become of it. It meant alot to the men who built it. I'm sure you know that.

That's cool you're giving Ruby a 2nd chance. Both of our dogs were abandoned as puppies because they had problems. (my wife's a vet). The owners have no clue what they missed out on, the dogs have great personalities and they love to bird hunt...

Shouldn't you be embarrassed just for reading it all? :) I kind of agree though... Then again, some people accuse others of kissing my ass... and most of the time the people they are accusing are just good friends of mine. Maybe these guys are pals of Jesse's?

I have to say... I didn't get off to a very good start with Jesse at all. We shared many emails calling each other names and what not... Then, we hung out a bit. He's a pretty normal car guy that doesn't come across online like he is in person. I'm not taking showers with him or anything now and I still hate glamor shots and all, but I do like him as a person.

Just got to figure out how to get him to post some tech stuff... :)

How can anyone with enough heart to save a dog/dogs like that drop an I-beam on an Anglia.
It's like you live in non sequitar world or somethin'.
    I'm so confused!!!!!!!

  14. He got paid real money to wreck the Anglia. If he was offered that same cash to smash the dogs, that would be the test of character. Me? I'm happy he wasn't offered that.

    Haha... That's funny! :D

I'm sure a few too many of us have read through all of this thread.

...and some tech would be awesome.
Those are the threads that I actually learn something from and don't feel like I've just wasted another 15 minutes of my life.

BAH. You are just over sensitive because you know that he is more famous than the rest of us.

Had it been anyone else posting pictures of their cool rides or pets you would see the same responses. Most people are expressing honest opinions and asking pretty normal questions.

Jesse James might be famous but its not like anyone is rolling out a red carpet or unnecessarily kissing his ass here. At least we didn't all assume that "B-J" had something to do with Sandra Bullock.

Nothing bonds men better than taking showers with each other, why are you being such a homophobe Ryan?

What happened to the flying car?? I thought you would have kept that one....or at least pulled the motor....from the rear.

  21.

Thanks Nads, now I have to come up with some bullsh!t explanation about why I burst into laughter in my office...

  22. I have some friends who hung out with Jesse a couple of times and they all said the same thing...hes a pretty cool guy and not stuck up at all.

I don't see too much ass kissing. Other than over that Merc. Beater? Damn...I wish my good cars were as nice as his beater.

And who doesn't like pics and stories about gimp'd dogs that are in good homes? Thats some feel good shit right there!

  23. if a guy builds cool stuff I'm not supposed to tell him he's cool.. if he's famous.

    ok.. got it.

I am just glad to see him showing us his Beaters.

    Thank you JJ.

  28. I don't think he ever did, but that car, with that engine/trans/suspension, and good track conditions, could do it, NO problem.
The main problem is keeping the car planted, and going straight. Then, through the traps, on a swingaxle trans, when you let off the gas, the car de-cambers AND un-weights, all at the same time...it can become a handful...
