Hi, sorry for the confusion, I put in Electro Arc's birthday when I joined, not mine. I noticed the links from this forum to our website and checked out the thread. I take personal pride in the machines we make and the history of the company, a big part of supporting our customers is connecting in forums like this. I really appreciate your warm welcome and the tip about the pictures!

We skipped going back to the shop last week (because we had a trailer to build and an Es*** body to buy) but will definitely be going this Sunday. Today I was able to get the transformer to power up - not sure why it didn't work initially. With that I believe it should be functional, but I'm not going to attempt to strike an arc with it until I pick up the coolant pump and other accessories that I now know are there.

More good news: last week I picked up a large vintage drill press that will be a perfect host for this machine. Next Monday I will haul everything to the shop that I work at and try to put it all together, we will burn some pretty holes in some junk brake rotors if it all works and there will definitely be video.

Finally got back over there today and was able to find the coolant pump for the disintegrator, but the cart (which I swear I saw) was nowhere to be found. It was sitting outside so may have been procured by a local?? Anyway, I found some s**** angle iron and will just make a cart for it. I doubt I will be running the machine tomorrow but may drag everything up to the shop and see how to set it up.

Been a while since I had an opportunity to mess with the machine but I was able to find a rolling cart to house the transformer, coolant pump & tools. Today I got the pump working and set the whole machine up for probably the first time in many decades. I just need to find a good coolant, then I can try the machine out. I'll make sure I record some footage.

These are good machines to have around. we have one at work that I've used maybe half a dozen times over the last 22 years. When you've spent hours making a part, and you break a tap off in it, you don't want to start over.

I've been waiting for you to get this thing working. Hopefully, you got it for a lot less than this re-furbished one? I'm going to have to hope that Santa thinks I've been a good enough boy if I'm going to ever have one. ;)
