STRESS? My doctor says I don't get enough stress. Seriously Jim I hope you get better real soon. Sounds like you need a vacation!!
As someone who has delt with an ulcer in the past (at age seven with my parents divorce) I can ***ure you they arent fun. Try and cut down the stress level and get well soon.
OMG!! Butch Bebeau and I were just there tue afternoon, spent about 2 hours BSing about Hot Rods our cars and such, turns out we knew each other from GoodGuys, he had presented me with one of the show awards at Snottsdale. He gave us a nice tour of the shop behind him and introduced us to some of the good people and great cars there. Would have never known he was ill, he sure did not show it!! Well so anyway, back to meat of the subject, wishing you a speedy recovery and back on your feet rapidly Jim. Good Luck!!!! Dave
jim get well soon. some of you guys may not be aware but docs reckon most ulcers arent caused by stress at all - they are caused by bacteria and a simple dose of 3 sets of tablets taken together can get rid of the bacteria and stop the ulcers forming. hopefully jims been tested for the bacteria and been given the antibiotics/tablets If any of you guys suffer from stomach ulcers you should ask your doc to be tested for the bacteria, 4 of my friends this year alone have been tested and all been positive and uts been cleared up in a matter of weeks.
Talked to Jim; he's doing ok and in good spirits for being stuck in the hospital. He appreciates everyone thinking about him; that definitely perked him up !
Jim, My neighbor is a nurse and she said that she would be at your bedside in a few hours to see if there's anything you need.
How much we gotta chip in to send that nurse by to see him ? Hope your feeling better Jim , hope to see you at the roadster show .
Dang hospitals must be in the air this month, I spent 2 days 1 night in there myself this month, Sure wasn't my choice of Hotels 2 days was enough to make me follow doctors orders if he let me out .... Shoot Feel Better Fast, beg for Mercy that you want to be in your own bed (with that nurse the boys are rounding up for your speedy recovery) Seriously if there is anyway we can help, just give a shout!! Feel Better !
Looks like somebody's been "frettin" too much about ****. Stop worrying and start driving more! Hot rods are good for the soul !! Get well Jim.
