Love nose art. I think it's so cool that during the war guys were allowed to help with morale by dressing up their planes with some pretty amazing art work. Can you imagine how it would go over today if a flight squadron artist took brush to a plane and laid out a naked or barely clad lady.
I need that nose art for my living room! The name Jive Bomber came from a Jump Blues band by that name in the late 40s... Just thought that sounded like a cool name for an ol Jalopy too! Thanks for posting, Bob!
