John Deere paint, What do you thin it with ?

    So to a paint supply store and tell them you want a Commercial grade single stage flat black or Satin black. Last time I got some it was $100 for a gallon and that did 2 coats on my 55.

    That happens to be a Dupont Commercial grade Semi Gloss I got from my local Carquest Paint supply store. If you dont specify commercial grade they will try to sell you Hot Rod Flatz which is probably better but more expensive.

    YEAH WHAT HE SAID .you can't really get much cheaper than 50 bucks for a paint job ,useally with left over material.I've sprayed it on pretty much everything i own and it holds up great.

    Why not use TSC paint - a friend of mine painted a Tbucket and a '32 coupe with their paint - looked great & it's cheap.
