Another Olay home run. I've watched the cars John has put together over the years and I'm not the only one that will attest that he is the a**** the best. I would put his crafsmanship up against anyone who has ever built a hot rod. The man is so un***uming you could be standing right next to him and one of his cars and never know he owned it. 0 ego,100% skill. Can't wait to see this one done. Frank
I finally got over and took a few more pics. I tried to get some good pics of the shifter like a couple asked for. And tried to get some bottom pics but its hard to really see anything. You can see how nice and tucked up the exhaust is and nothing hangs below the sides of the frame rails. He also made up some door stops for it. It hard to really take pics of all the details! -Gary 32 cowl vent door stops shifter, cowl lever and pedals underneath
Incredible car, looks like a lot of thought goes into his builds and comes out top notch. Shifter and cowl lever are nicely done
The 29 is my favorite sedan, and this one is just right. The 36 Coupe is perfect. Could someone tell me the paint code on the 36 ? I have been looking for a color like that.
thanks for posting the pics of the shifter. i'm not seeing any details of the linkage down to the ******...does he have it working now , or is it still a work in process? and chance of more pictures of the complete shifter?
planning a '32 frame for my '29 Sedan, love yours! Great workmanship! Where's your fuel tank going, and how will it be mounted?
The fuel tank is in the back behind the rear seat, the filler is under the rear window with a flush cap. The shifter everyone keeps asking about is made by a guy outta Battle Creek, MI, He doesnt really have a company website or anything, he just makes them John thought. That I'm not sure of? He picked it up while in K-Zoo at the NSRA Nats. Its cable operated, kind of a simple set up. Not alot has changed to the car as far as appearance, been finishing up welding and some fab. getting it ready for bodywork. I will have to get some more pics soon. -Gary
Is that a Windsor Fabrications shifter? I seem to remember they had something similar years ago? Looking forward to the pictures.
