"Johnny Drag" new to the H.A.M.B. from Kingwood, TX

We are new to the H.A.M.B from Kingwood, TX. My son Blake and I have been working on our '32 Ford Roadster for about four years and are hoping to finish this winter. We are members of the Houston Roadsters. We have had some excellent help and advice from various members and especially Bruce and Danny from Bruce's Rod Shop in Spring, TX and ultimate Ford Guys Bob Gleim and Carl Wagoner from Bakersfield, CA. We have also had some tips from Jimmy Shine at SoCal Speed Shop in Pomona. We have done all of the work ourselves except the motor mounts and machining of the front brake drums.

Our car is early '60's style with a SoCal frame, Harwood body, drilled and dropped front axle, 9" Ford rear end, 39 Lincoln front brakes with Buick finned aluminum brake drums and Rodware windshield. We have a 1963 Buick Wildcat 465 with dual Carter Competition four barrel carbs for power with a vintage Scheiffer aluminum flywheel, 11" Ford clutch, and Muncie M-21 from a big block Corvette. We just restored a set of Guide 682 headlights as well.

We can't wait to finish and drive!!!!!!!!!!
