Hello to my knuckle bustin' brothers. I found this site while looking for advice on how to start my newest project, a 52 Chevy. While I love the car as is, this beauty gets tonnes of attention from everyone who sees it, I feel it needs a certain touch of cl*** that only an english wheel and a paint gun can provide. A little background... I have been in the military for the past 10 wonderful years, and the latter 5 of those has been as an aircraft fabricator. I dabble in all the basics, but I love metal work and paint. It is for this reason that my wife is constantly pulling her hair out, as I tend to rip apart everything I get into my garage. From my '04 Harley to my cl***ic 80's era Gravey lawn tractor, everything looks better with a little traditional rod influence. What can I say, I'm a ****er for black primer and heavy flake. I am very excited to tear into my 52, and appreciate any advice along the way. From what I have seen on this site, there is a wealth of knowledge here. I really hope to draw from that knowledge, as this is my first "real" car, and I hope to do it right. See you in the forums
