Johhny's Stude Engine gave out in his T sedan and has a rod knocking. Can anyone trailer his car to a safe location or have a place he can have it towed to? His cell is (812)841-2639

He is near Colona, IL on I-80

    Help a Brotha out....

There's gotta be someone in the Quad Cities. It's not like he's in Piatt County or anything.

OK, I called and gave Mr Sparkle a name and number of a HAMB guy that lives just south west of Davenport. IA. If he can't help maybe he knows of someone that's closer to east of Davenport in IL where Johnnie's at.

If he were in Piatt county or even Champaign county, we would already be secure and spooning.

    Thanks Scott and Denise.

That's cool. I just figured there has to be somebody from the HAMB around there. Maybe not. :(

Update: He removed a plug wire and is limping it to a safe local in the Quad City area. It's running rough (the background racket was awful).

Johnny just called Plowboy, who is here at my place, and said he has the car tucked safely away now. he just has to figure out how to get it home. Of course he is going to the show first.

    Thanks HAMB.

Alrighty. I have the car at a fella's place in Moline. Denise's contact referred me to another person, who referred me to another person, who referred me to a Tom Hogg. He's let me store the car until I pick it up. I've rented a U-haul and plan on picking it up tomorrow. Good stuff. Car people are awesome, trhanks for the help everyone.

Slammed, you are a crazy person, but you totally rock. Thanks man!

Anyone wanna buy a lightly used sedan?

Guess you car will never make it in a magazine now... That's sad. The good news is that in a thunderstorm, you probably won't get struck by lightning. Sucks about the engine.. maybe its time for the supercharged one?

I forgot to thank Kurt "Gaspump," and Don Valley for the help with tracking down someone to help.

Thanks to Tom Hogg from Moline, he let a complete stranger park a car in the way in his shop, and didn't even mind the massive oil puddle it left. Plus he gave me a $25 Applebees gift card, just because. He might be a Hamber, not really sure. Super nice guy.
