Featured Folks Of Interest Johnny suede hot rod jackets

Has anyone had dealings with Johnny suede custom jackets? We gave him our money for 4 custom embroidered jackets at last year’s lone star round up . They were supposed to be delivered to Texas . Messaged him a week before this year’s roundup , he said yes he would be there early at this round up and bring the jackets, couldn’t find him anywhere. I did send him a couple more messages with no further replies . Asked a buddy to keep an eye out at the LA roadster show , not there either . It was a considerable amount of money when converted back to the weak kiwi $.

I am not sure if he would understand my Kiwi accent on the phone. With the cold Kiwi winter upon us they would have been nice.

 

Thanks had not been back to his website. I have just tried the chat option which I didn’t see before. When I first txt him he got back to me right away saying, yes he would be at the roundup early , next couple of txt I sent I got no reply. No reply from him on the chat option either. Hunted at the roundup and he was a no show.

 

That’s a bummer. I bought one a few years ago at GNRS. He made it for me and sent it promptly, but I am in the States.

 

Well he’s got a ****py reputation now. Hopefully he tries to make it right with you, but I’d think the hole he dug is too deep to get out of.

 

I gave him two different USA addresses to ship to. I would never expect international shipping.

 

Has anyone confirmed he is still alive? JW

This is timely, our club has been looking at his line of coats, I'm sure we will be looking at another source. HRP

 

Looks like his last post was May 30th. I don't know him makes me wonder if something is wrong with his health. I hope you get it sorted out.

 

@Kiwi 4d did you receive a response? I follow his Instagram and he has posted new products in the last 48 hours

 

Nope no response at all . I don’t do IG or fake book . He ignored my further txt replies. After these messages of hope before the round up, followed by radio silence .

I live about 5 miles from the address shown on the net…. I’ll drive by see what goes on this week and report back.

He sounds like a real nice guy. Says he’s going to look into this, I gave him this thread ***le, he says he’ll be on it asap.

Much appreciated the help folks. I think if I called him he may have trouble understanding my Kiwi accent. He was a nice guy to deal with at the show, he was very busy for those couple of days.
