    @John Kopecky I emailed you but never got a reply. I'd like to connect with you as the car is invited to Pebble Beach in '26 and They're interested in the history as it connects to the Kopecky Maserati.

    @John Kopecky I wanted to update you (and others following)... We successfully ran the California Mille! This event is no joke. The roads are super challenging (twisty and ROUGH!). Not the wine and cheese thing that I was dreading. The car ran like a champ. This is the first time we really drove the hell out of it. Unbelievably fast. Brakes are good. Corners well. All around a well designed car for the period. The achilles heel is the LaSalle gearbox. The 380hp SBC is probably a bit much for it.     just looked up the 'ca, mille'--i live an hour before calistoga on that route--and am impressed AND awed by the reg fee to enter!!-cool car you got there!!
