The Ardun in Lynchie's coupe has a long history. At one stage it was in Kevin Mayo's original 'Wedgetail' Dragster, before it got the Dodge engine. Then in the mid '60's it ended up in Doug Lawrence's '34 Dodge coupe. I know some of the interim story but since it involves people's personal lives and issues I won't post it here. I believe John got it by answering an advert in a Saturday Age parts for sale column and he thought he was going to look at a flathead. Almost **** his pants when he got there to find that the flatty had an OHV conversion. He's had it waiting to go in the right car for a number of years. Sorry i don't have great breasts, but the purse does indeed match one of my cars. The green one to be precise. ;-)

How could you possibly suggest that. Kelly used my paints to mix up a special colour for outlining the flames on that green Chevy. Then Whodaaky and i gave her much moral support. OK, it may have sounded like ribbing to anybody else but it really was moral support. ;-0
