Hiya folks! Wandered over here from another forum after being prodded in the direction by 4-ever-4. I'm 29 living just outside London, England. Got 2 projects on the go at the moment: a 90% finished Ford Anglia 105E running a hot pre-crossflow motor which has stood untouched for ages and a Ford Pop 103E (you Americans will know it as an upright Anglia) which is completely bone stock except I'm building a hot flathead 4 for it. So the Anglia looked something like this and it'll look much the same when done, except shiny: It's now fully welded, new metal everywhere, flipfront, rebuilt engine, new interior bits, better exhaust, lower etc and ready for paint. I'll see if I can find some pics of the build. The Pop looks like this: Genuine barnfind and I've replaced everything underneath as it was all knackered. Thought it was going to be a quick cheap spanner job but it wasn't and now I'm building a hot motor for it which should be ready to put back in the next week or so. I've built it "the old way" at home with high compression, relieved bores, cam, flow work, twin carbs and some vintage goodies. I'll run a whole build thread on it because it's been really well enjoyed elsewhere. I'll be using the Pop as my daily driver again once it's back on the road.
Glad to see ya got the word and came on aboad. It'll be good to follow along with your builds. HellRaiser
Thanks guys! I'll put a bit more about the builds pretty soon but got to get my thumb out my butt and get them back driving!!!
