Joplin, MO Hambers I need your HELP

I am in need of some help from Joplin area hambers. My wife, 1 month old baby, and myself are planning what will be one of the biggest moves of our life. We are going to be relocating from Toronto, KS to the Joplin area. This will all be happening around tax time as that is the only time that funds will allow and even then its going to be TIGHT.

What I am in need of is tips or info on local shops or other automotive related businesses that may be hiring so I could give them a call, send a resume, or drop by on my next trip to Joplin. My searches of the Joplin Globe cl***ifieds and other internet resources have turned up very little.

I have 2 years of training in Automotive Technology, with a technical diploma and am only a few cl***es away from my ***ociates Degree which will be finished up a MSSU. I also have about 2years of experience in the field and currently operate my own business of Mobile Service and repair. I also have about 9 months of experience as an Apprentice in an auto body shop, where I was trained in everything but frame machines.

I also look forward to meeting some new people and maybe future friends in the process.

 

Anyone else? I've had one much appreciated reply in my PM's. We will be in Joplin around New Years and would be interested in meeting up.

 

PM Ryno. Last I talked to him he was heading to CA for a vacation. Not sure if he's home yet. Lives in Joplin with his wife and two sons. He's a car guy and family man. I'm sure he'll be happy to show you the lay of the land.
