The town has a small population, less than 1,200 according to my brotherinlaw who was traveling through the area a couple of years ago, he said the scenery was stunning. Sounds like a idea place to have a show. HRP
The best Oregon has to offer. Little Switzerland, my family originated from the area so my father took me there many times a child. There is even a high lake named for his father that discovered it up off the Lostine canyon. Too far for me to attend the show, too bad. I miss that corner of the world.
240 miles on way for me. I'll have to p*** this time. Not that bad of a jaunt for the Boise area folks though.
That is an understatement Danny, I'd recommend it but that would be a LONG HAUL. I'm a born Oregonian and have only been there one time, it was about a six hour drive from Portland, that was in the 80's when I could drive eight hours straight, now I'm only good for four. Discussion of a return visit comes up at least once a year between my wife and I, may have to plan for next years car show. A must-do is taking the cable tram that goes up to Mt. Howard the view is breathtaking, it is claimed to be the steepest in North America.
