Hi, my name is Paul. Here's my truck story: In 2015, I Purchased an old Kansas farm truck (it is a 1954 International Harvester R 120). It's weathered exterior appealed to me; so, I bought it; and, had it shipped to my home, in California. It was said to be running and driving; but, barely. Come to find out- It needed, pretty much everything (should have seen that one coming):
    - all the brake components replaced (3/4 ton drums are super rare and expensive), cooling system, clutch, before left.png international before right.png interior before.png reconditioning the interior.png after right.JPG after drivers side.JPG DSCN3418.JPG 327 small block.JPG DSCN3529 (2).JPG DSCN3882.JPG DSCN3873.JPG wiring, tires, gauges, on and on. I Invested quite a bit of money getting it going and reliable. I spent weeks cleaning up the outside and the inside. When I finally got to the finishing stages of this preservation, (in fact, in the middle of an install of a freshly rebuilt vacuum wiper motor) I lost the engine to a bent rod. It's been quite an odyssey; but, 4 years and a lot of money, later, I have a reliable, SBC powered, Kansas farm truck. It has a turbo 400 transmission, power steering and power brakes. thought I'd share the photos of the whole journey: original condition, original arrival video: reservation- and finally, modification of this 1954 R120. The last 2 photos are what the truck looks like today. Here's a walk around video:
