Thanks for the encouragement! I have a ch***is builder 2 doors up from me that already said he would make the necessary mods to the radiator on monday. Less than a mile away from me is a amazing machinist that turns small stuff around for me is 1 to 2 days. Brattons is less than 2 miles from the house as well so anything I need in a short period of time I have covered. The last pieces I need for the build to be up and running are a fuel tank and a floor section so I think my deadline can be reached easily. Besides it doesn't have to be 100% complete as I understand it.
Thanks for the encouragement! ............ no harm intended , but be safe in this hurry up project . we have all burned the mid-nite oil . I have also been there & made the errors .......... just humor my friend ... steve
Interesting piece on the Roof OHV for Model A's. Roof's grandson was at the Speedster Reunion. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...s-the-roof-ohv-conversion-is-tops/?refer=news
Looking forward to this event. Hope to have my coupe for next year. I will be sure to stop and say hello. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Ok, can I ask what this banger is? It has a casting in the block 3-12-51, Lucas distributor, zenith down draft carb, fires 1342. The owner thinks it's English, Prefect? Pilot? What are the trans options, capacity, physical size compared to an A banger. Any good/bad pionts, anyone put one in an A model before?
