    Thanks for the encouragement!

    I have a chassis builder 2 doors up from me that already said he would make the necessary mods to the radiator on monday. Less than a mile away from me is a amazing machinist that turns small stuff around for me is 1 to 2 days. Brattons is less than 2 miles from the house as well so anything I need in a short period of time I have covered. The last pieces I need for the build to be up and running are a fuel tank and a floor section so I think my deadline can be reached easily. Besides it doesn't have to be 100% complete as I understand it.

    Thanks for the encouragement! ............ no harm intended , but be safe in this hurry up project . we have all burned the mid-nite oil . I have also been there & made the errors .......... just humor my friend ... steve

    Ok, can I ask what this banger is? It has a casting in the block 3-12-51, Lucas distributor, zenith down draft carb, fires 1342. The owner thinks it's English, Prefect? Pilot? What are the trans options, capacity, physical size compared to an A banger. Any good/bad pionts, anyone put one in an A model before?

    I do realize this has been beatened to death , but not by me . has some here actually put a flat V8 in a model A coupe ?? I would like to talk to someone that has done it .............. steve
