  3. Velkommen Pam! Really dig your anecdotes on the past. A post on the endless roadtrips around the country would be cool!

Endless roadtrips...sometimes I wonder how we did it. An Ironman Triathelon every week. Capitol, Epping and Cayuga. Turn around, refresh the engine and do it all over again. You had to be young to pull it off.

pontiac slim , thank you . im one of the lucky ones that was there when all this was going on . saw alot of famous people before they were famous ! pam , as others , were so very kool ! the hippy girls were so damn great ! made a guy feel good just to see them . it was a great generation & times . did the viet nam thing , but got to see bob hope & ann margret in person ! very kool . when scaramento was a nhra strip i saw lots of big names that were the beginning of history . don gartlits , shirley muldoney , butch leal , tommy ivo & the list goes on & on . there were many , many in the day . it was a spectical for sure . pretty girls like pam were quit common & the big races . most people had "back up" girls that made the sport very kool ! as i said , you had to be there ! ........... thank you .. old steve !

  25. Hi Pam, really nice of you to show up here. I have admired you since my early teen years in the early 70's. I look forward to hearing some more stories. You must have a million stories of life on the road with JJ, ever consider writing a book?

Had 32 nostalgic funny cars at Firebird here in Phoenix last weekend. First race of it's kind in these parts. Cruise Petregon drove the Powers Steel Vega and Del Worsham had his Blue Max here. So........chin up girl, maybe you and JJ will be back on the Nostalgic Circuit

Pam I doubt there's single place you could go on the internet where you would be loved more than right here on the HAMB.

Man am I glad I was born a man.
