Thanks for joinin' up and spendin' a little time with us Pam. I was in my early teens when Jumgle Jim and Pam were so popular. The first question at school on monday morning, from the guys that didn't get to go to the races, was 'Was Pam there???' I said 'You betcha!' and they were 'Ohhhh, MAAAANNNN, I wish I coulda went!!' Thanks for everything. You sure brought a lotta smiles to a lotta faces. It was just simply the best when young guys could see a great lookin' gal actually liked drag racin' too. You gave us HOPE!! Thanks again.

 

Pam, can you tell us about the Jungle and Pam scheme on the Camaro and why it was only used a few times.

 

How about Shannon Elizabeth? Ok, not quite as good looking as Pam but I think she would do a good job playing the part?




I have to say it again, a book would be fantastic about your life Pam!!
And...... Im with the others, we need posters! One of my best memory's was going to a friend of the family's house to help him work on his car, He had two Pam posters on the wall. I think both were from his own photography, Id sit there watching American Nitro and looking up at your posters!

Well just got my copy of drag racing FUNNY CARS, the book is great,alotta stuff I forgot and somethings I remember oh so well.The forward by Pam is great and is mostly pictures for some of you guys that dont like to read much (words are kool too)it only took a couple of days for B&N to deliver since nobody had it local,bottom line spend some coin and buy the damn book....ya know christmas is coming

On the left is "Fast Eddie"Schartman. His unknown friend is center. I was hoping that Pam might remember her. BTW, this was taken at Delmar.

 

I was in PA in those days at Pocono Drag Lodge but evidently US 13 in Delmar played host to many of the stars of the day, as well... Was that Sanders on the right? I saw him in his "Lime Fire" days.

Well I just picked up the DVD "American Nitro" besides some great action,there is some great footage of Pam doing her "thing"....damn I gotta believe women at the track hated her,she really carried it well...wish hot pants would make a serious comeback....oh yeah I got it from RF here on the hamb

 

hot pants are tame compared to the "skirts" ladies wear now
but still..nuthin' like sex and HP to get the crowd up

Ya how true about 2-days "skirts", howzever... it is my humble thoughts on the matter that from what I have seen the gals of now-a-days lack ... hmm.. Attitude! Character! and soul!
