Looks great, man! You're moving along nicely.

  2. wow its looking great! It seems like you don't see to many columbia axles under hotrods these days, everyone wants a quick-change(myself included!). really really cool!!!

yeah dave builds some really awesome cars and is very knowledgeable about early ford... in the new srp magazine that street rodder is putting out there is a good write up on him and a bunch of pictures of the shop(im like a kid in a candy store everytime i go there!)... his personal collection is awesome!

yeah i was originally going to do a quick change with the columbia but i wanted to stay away from a buggy spring not that theres anything wrong with them i just like the full rear floor in the 32 trunk.

i apreciate the support on here! it gets me more fired up than i already am about this project!

I'm enjoying your build and I love that Columbia rear end! It oozes coolness! How about a side shot of your mockup?

got the body on the chassis last weekend! only welded the drivers side cowl panel the passenger side isn't in place soo it looks like it out of place. door hinges are a little bent i little i need to straighten them out and the doors should straighten out and rework the old 60s chop through the a pillar.

threw the headers on... my future thought is to make some inboard headers with a 25 louver hood but for now these geardrive lake style will work quite nice!

Great build,but.... Are you sure about the headers? :)

They seem to point more upward then downwards....
And the style doesn't really suit the quality and style of the car.....

It's my personal taste ,so don't pay too much attention to it :)

Gonna be an awesome car. My 34 has the same hole in the drivers quarter. My theory is maybe a gas filler neck hole??? Must be a wacky New England thing.
