Junk yard/barn/field pic thread?

I just got back from TX and run some backroads to get home. I think this yard was on 166? very far south part of Kansas.
The COE's cought my eye but there was stuff all over. even a row of 40 Fords stuffed in the garage.(dark pics but you can make 'em out) one was what was left of a 40 woody wagon.

This 38 coupe has been sitting here maybe 15-20 years.Guy wouldn't sell it when I asked a few years back.Got a 57 Chevy sitting there rotting also with some other old car remnants.Found between New Market Ala and Elora Tn.

 

What is that little boat-tail roadster? Whatever it is, it's as cute as can be, would make a neat rod.

 

Like I said in another thread...I first saw this car over twenty years ago, and was out hunting a while back and thought of it and drove to where it was..and there it was. Still there. Sitting on wood, so ***ume it's not for sale, after being there that long, but have been trying to find the owner.

 

Man thats a nice coupe body. Id be on a hunt for the owner for sure

this is what we have in austria/europe...all is for sale,but the owner is very "strange"

Yup, that's my stuff. The property belongs to George Callaway (The "Mayor" of El Mirage) and I store some of my project cars there. It's a fun place!

This ol Hudson was restorable. (Looked worse than it was)


Heard a story about those 2 Fords (one 35 and one 36) so we hade to take a ride and look. (look att the Banjo steeringwheel in the 36). Went back 3-4 month later to pic em up but they where gone then.




Found this T-touring in the woods at Dr Balk (Dr I-beam) as we call him, it had been standing there for 5-6 years. he had a barn full of old T-tin.
