    This yard was full of Studebakers all went to the crushers in the early 70's. I still cry myself to sleep. :) bert-rydlm02.jpg bert-rydlm03.jpg bert-rydlm04.jpg bert-rydlm05.jpg bert-rydlm06.jpg bert-rydlm07.jpg bert-rydlm09.jpg bert-rydlm14.jpg bert-rydlm11.jpg bert-rydlm13.jpg bert-rydlm12.jpg bert-rydlm08.jpg

Another old New Zealand yard that belonged to a good friend. He died recently and now in the hands of his son. The Council wants it gone, the pic was taken in the late 70's and a lot of it is still there. The Panel truck in the middle is a 40 Ford COE. JW

Don't know what he meant by "20 year old photo." But, geez, that's got to be at least 60 years old. When was the last time he saw a fairly complete Deuce coupe in a junkyard? Only one bullet hole, too!

Its awesome to take in the brands and models all in rows.. Don't ya love the fibre gl*** repair on the coronet. Imagine the pain splashing resin up under the wheel wheel never mind the eyes and skin as gravity took control.

Another old NZ yard. I took this pic in the early 80's, when it had a big clearance auction. I wish I took a wider shot of the yard. JW

  26. Going to the bone yard for me is like going to the local barber shop on a Saturday. The locals gather and there are many stories to be heard. "I'll have my usual flattop, please."
