Junkyards aren't disappearing any faster, its just that you hear about it more often.

Like saying the world is an worse place now, than it was before you watched the news...its just telling you the shit.

Still...sad to see stuff crushed for no reason, are people really so...err...simple minded, that they couldn't wait a couple of months and actually sell the stuff off for a hell of a lot more than scrap prices?

Yep, he took me there my first trip out looking for an old car. There's five or six good ones and some more little places between Milaca and the western state line he took me to.That guy spent month's on the road just looking for old cars years ago. He even has county Platt maps w red marks where every old car he found is at.Most he admits are long gone :( ,I'll have to make a trip out there again w him .He's not getting around as much car wise lately and got his disabled mirror hanger yesterday.

You're calling for help, does that mean the stuff is still there?

    Cars are still there.

Jeff is trying to work out a deal with the deceased owner's girlfriend (who inherited the yard) to hold off the crushing and selling the cars whole for a few hundred each. That would be a lot more than she's getting from the crusher guy.

We are hoping to save at least some of these cars.
