Just got back home after an 1145 mile trip from my home in Black Hawk S.D. To Regina Saskatchewan. My pops and I went up to see our Canadian friends and take in the Majestic’s indoor carshow. We had an absolute blast and took in a really good show and many garage tours.
It looks like you were parked out behind Bob's place in Regina, with all the cars lined up by the fence.
Damn straight the boys drove the deuce ,and through some nasty weather . And they brought some damn tasty American beverages to boot ‼️ Thursday night NORTHSIDE therapy prior to the show …
Did I mention southern Saskatchewan is really FLAT?! At certain points a guy can look left, straight, and to the right and see nothing but the horizon. I’m not use to that living in the black hills
Man, that's an awesome road trip. The price of gas makes it prohibitively expensive for me to take long road trips, being retired without replacement income.
What ya mean Saskatchewan is flat …. That’s what makes it exciting to drive here…. You have to be careful so you don’t slide off the edge of the earth ….. besides that Saskatchewan map is easy to draw . Member in good standing , flat earth society ‼️
It's so flat in Saskatchewan that if you stand up on a soap box and look real hard you can see the back of your own head.
We got 19 mpg but would have gotten a lot better if we didn’t have to drive into a headwind the entire 500 miles heading north. It was a chore keeping the ole sedan on the road but it’s all in the adventure.
I love road trips! That one looked like a lot of fun. We have a 400 mile road trip in a couple weeks, then a 700 mile road trip in Sept followed 3 weeks later with another 700 mile road trip the other direction. Taking the pick up this year, hoping for better then 13 mpg.... Retired, fixed income, we plan ahead. We sit home through the winter and save up money so we can go places in the summer.
