.......I'm glad that it was not worse.........makes me think more when I 'm working on my cars..thanks for the warning...
Shenanigans!!! C'mon Kevin you know what they say, "PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!". Just kidding. Glad to hear you're moderately OK. At least you have the perfect reason to take it easy for a while. That big 'ol garage and not one jackstand? BE CAREFUL NEXT TIME!!
Yeah its definitely broken was able to pull my arm out and had to call my sister to take me to the er
there were jackstands the axle kicked them out *** end of the delivery on the ground...just enough room to get out
That picture is one "bathroom sink" away from being a teenage Myspace photo!! At least you're OK. You're gonna need to get one of those Life Alert(tm) things that they show during The Price Is Right episodes!
haha i know right.... haha yeah ive been gettin injured alot lately...my parents are away and i was working at their house if i hadnt of gotten free i wouldve been screwed... what are the white brothers up to? you guys should come topa the week of hershey and hang out at the show or if you want to come and work on hot rods for a week let me know its be good to see you guys again
Close call Kevin. I guess you could say you're lucky to just have a broken arm under the cir***stances. A few years ago there was a father and his 12 or 13 year old son near here who liked to help his dad work on cars. They were both laying under some heap and whatever was supporting it gave way and crushed them both. The wife/mother found them. Be careful out there. By the way, that's some pretty fancy one handed typing.
thanks steve very close call indeed....yeah takes a lot longer to type anything but since i cant work right now i got nothing but time....not working on cars is driving me nuts and its been one day....guess i need to not work when im home alone
Most of us have gotten hurt doing something we know not to do or just getting in a hurry and being careless. My great fear is not death--it is that I will meet my demise doing something dangerous, and for all eternity I'll have to listen to "He's the one who tried to..." I really don't want St. Peter to greet me with "We never got one in that way before." There's a web site, www.darwinawards.com full of stories of people who got themselves killed doing crazy dangerous stuff, along with "Honorable Mentions" for those who survive through no fault of their own.
Close call buddy....sorry to hear you got hurt. I think that as I get older I am much less inclined to do the **** I used to do...I cut a parts car apart with a torch once...and all that was left holding the ***** together was about 1/2" of floorpan that was still together...guess what I did? Got under the car and cut the last bit...1/2 of the body fell on top of me and a muffler hanger s****ed my face...when I got up it was blood everywhere...luckily no scar...oh well.....hope you heal quickly..
Kevin get well soon. be grateful it wasn't worse. a fellow here in ct. got his arm stuck in his furnace, he was trapped for 3 days ended up cutting himself free [ by cutting him self]
You know we'd love to get back out there! It's just money seems to be hard to find around here...especially in the winter! We have to make it out to PA and then to NY to see Fred, sometime!
heres where im at with my arm right now....i had the arm set and a cast put on....i have to have a long arm cast on for a month then have a short arm cast put on for a month then i have to go have x-rays...if its not healed right then i have to have it rebroken and a plate put in my arm
