Hello everyone, been a long time since I was able to hang out here, so I figured I should update and let everyone know whats new on the project front. I have moved from Pensacola to Tallah***ee Fl, and picked up a 65 ranchero in the process. It was my daily workhorse, till the brakes went out and I nailed a tree head on. In the process of selling it to a buddy now who has the funds and the time to give her the attention she deserves. In the meantime, I will use the cash to get Roxy( 55 210 4dr ) back in running order. I have neglected her for far too long. Just finished up the machine work for a new BB motor, and have the front end torn down atm, so I will be gettin the flow together to make her movable again, and then we'll get down to business and get that big chevy to rumble once more. My brother has moved in with me recently, and he brings with him a 69 Goat, its a judge, with 37k original miles on it, and he was using it for his daily, until he blew the motor. So in goes a 455, and the rest will hopefully end up in a mid 11 sec street burner. I know we look for more of an older scene, but the goat was his pops car and he bought it new in 69, so it was the spark that turned him into a gearhead in the first place. He bought the car from his pops estate when his pop p***ed in 02. His heart is in the right place, and he just picked up a 66 chevy stepside, with inline 6 and three on the tree. We will be sharing a username cause its easier, and im sure he will have a few questions about making her right as well. I dont know if you old timers remember a few years back but Hef helped him out with his 65 burb, posted pics for him and helped get some opinions from you fellas. Either way, hope all is well with you guys, look forward to catchin up with all of you, and learnin a bunch of **** along the way, and helpin my bros out with info as much as I can. Its great to be back!!!
Well, welcomr back. Ima newby but have been hearin a lot about this place, so Im hoppin its all Ive heard it to be.
Man, this place is the six degrees of separation in full effect. If you have question, need a part, or anything else car related, someone on here either knows what you need, knows someone with it, or can get it.
