I'd say you're blessed as it is- nice garage, awesome recent score, and a future rockin' shoebox! Looks like he's done a few of these before. Peace of mind has to be nice when you have a master doing the work.

Another trip to Tyler's to check out the box.

He's just finishing the garnish moldings and doing some light body filling.

Tomorrow he's jumping on the rear window and sail panels, that will take him into next week. Looks like about 2 weeks from know she'll be a trailer queen back home so i can finish the body work before shipping out for paint.

Next week i'll be working on interior components while he's at the english wheel. Dont need to be watching and bugging... must keep myself busy!!!

I did build a new address marker to keep from going insane...

I would never have guessed it was cut that deep in the rear! What was it, 9"??? Really nice flow you two have accomplished!

    That's what I'm told.
I shared with Tyler what I wanted, that the Chris Cansey car is one I find exceptionally beautiful and stepped out of the shop and left it to him. I just said, I dont want to try to make an exact clone of Chris's car, I'll leave it to you. He's nailed it.
It's a bugger trying to build other peoples dreams. It takes a patient person, one who knows when to offer suggestions and when to run with the customers idea to make it a reality. Tyler is a class act... period.

I drove home my future drive train yesterday...

66Km ( 36000 original miles) owned by the original owner, 302 auto.
I'll keep the motor tranny for a exchange this winter. The remainder is going to a good friend who's installing a 460 into it as a sleeper.

Where have I been that house behind the T-bird before? Is he a HAMBer? Does he have several unusual cars?

You may have seen the house in many of my postings over the last few years, its in Vernon, B.C. . Yeah, the guys a HAMBER and he has had his share of unusual cars ( I took inventory and including my 50 and 41 and the t Bird, the total now stands at 51. This is our place in the sun.

Thanks folks. Dreaming the dream of owning this car for 35 years. Been a lot of filler cars in the mean time. All have been fun and games but not long term love affairs.

This was the right year to "settle down" and take this one all the way, chop, modern drive train, interior, paint... the whole kazoo. Hoping for road time in August this year and full time cruising next year after updating the drivetrain this coming winter.

Here's a rare bird... the flying ford. I think I know where VanDutch got his idea for the flying eyeball. I've never seen one like it before, thank you Hugh Morrow aka Ford_Fellow for pointing it out.

I got to Tylers in time to position the rear window. We agreed to center it in the rear. That'll help cut up the length of the roof and give a little well needed rear view. It should be coming home next week.
