Just another glue sniffer in So Cal

Hey peeps.
I thought I joined HAMB before but I guess not...just lurked about...my bad.

So Cal born and bred , pops was a car guy with everything from Packards to Gullwing Benz's came through his hands, I soaked it all up like a sponge. Pops knew the Bruckers at Movie World so I got in there for free as a kid all the time and it remains my mental playground today. I remember seeing Roth and Dutch and when nobody was looking hopped behind the lines for closer looks and seat time. Pops sold a Packard to Steve McQueen once, I went to car events at all the hot spots, Phil Hills place,and a whole lot of others...So Cal car culture built me and I ****led the teat of it from birth.

In my "grown up"(sic) life I have restored a ton of rides, have had a bunch of magazine features, filled the shelves with trophies, did a Monster Garage gig, even some behind the scenes stuff for Overhaulin. Ive restored two Barris cars and am working on my third, just scored a Roth trike, Ive got a Packard in the yard Im thinking of chopping, a 59 Chevy Ice Cream truck in the works, etc etc. I usually build stuff just for me, but have taken on a couple projects for the fancy folks in Hollywierd. Ive done more VW based stuff than anything else but I love it all. If it has wheels and an engine...count me in.

Ive got a few irons in the fire business wise...paying the rent and feeding the offspring for the past 15 years solid just doing "my thing". Carchaeology.com is the latest...digging relics out from hidden tombs , the VW gig is through Oldbug.com and another all car site Californiacar.com ... so Im a busy guy. Married, three kids, four dogs, goats, chickens, fish and a lot of rolling stock, living out in the sticks away from the rats and the races they run... err...is that enough information... what did I leave out? Shoe size is a 15 and my sign is neon.
