Good recycling of the ammo cases. :)

  7. They work great for sandblasting and painting bolts and screws as well.

  8. Let it dry and took a look. Got some trash in a few parts that needs sanded out. A lot of it came out really good. Well within the acceptable range for being painted in a garage by someone that doesn’t know that they’re doing.

  11. Final coat of primer on the frame...I hope. Paint as soon as it’s sanded and ready, can’t wait to see it done! Changed plans and frame is going to be body color now.

  13. Sanded and buffed. Need to get it in the sunlight and see what imperfections are too visible. Then a little polish and start to assemble. Looking forward to seeing it off the rotisserie!

Nice and SHINY paint love it. :)

  16. Had a few spots that needed some more sanding once I got the light on it. Passenger side rail cut and buffed. Gonna look reallllll good after polishing. Hopefully start chassis assembly by the end of next week...maybe.

Looks great, like the contrast of colors too. Those ladder bars have a different mount than I’ve seen before.
    Nice

  23. Yes, frame and body are same color. Well they will be if the painter ever gets done. It’s Ford Leadfoot Gray. Newer color on the current Mustangs and F-150s.

  24. I'm loving that color............Don.

Just noticed you are using clevis joint on rear suspension. What connection on front end of your bars? Do you have any experience doing it this way. Gathering parts for parallel 4 bar front suspension with coil overs planning on using clevis on 4 bars at axle connection & also on panhard bar & use heim joint at frame connection for panhard & 4 bars. How does that sound to you? Tks. Love your build
