It's taken awhile, but I finally decided to take the plunge. Been a long time lurker here, and for good reason, Tinbender was my instructor. Been out of school and banging metal for about 18 months, just signed a big check to start construction on my own shop, and love the tech here at the HAMB. I'm into old Fords and am presently building a 62 1/2 Falcon Sports Futura. Wanted to be different so I stayed with the inline six, but replaced it with a warmed up 200/C4 and have a T5 conversion waiting in the wings. Aside from the 62 Falcon, my son has a 61 Falcon Futura that we will be restoring once the new shop is finished, and I have a 67 Comet 202 2dr sedan wainting for a build as well as a 69 Fairlane Cobra waiting for a complete resto. I started out with a 46 Ford p/u while in HS and would love to do another one someday just for old times sake. As for personal stuff, I'm 48, retired USAF (10 yrs in Dec), and still married to the same gal after 27 years. She's a keeper that's for sure. We have one adult son who lives away from home and an 8 month old Yellow Lab that keeps us on our toes. Some of you HAMBers will recognize me from other forums such as FordSix and The Ford Falcon News. I'm here to learn as much as you guys and gals care to share. And if I can help anyone, I will.
